Platform Role and User Content
Assignly provides a platform to host learning materials, lessons, and assessments. We do not create, review, or verify the legal rights to content uploaded by tutors, instructors, or other content creators ("Content Creators") unless required by law.
By uploading or publishing content on Assignly, each Content Creator represents and warrants that they own the content or have obtained all permissions, licenses, and rights needed to use and share it, and that the content does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, or other third-party rights.
If any lesson, learning material, or assessment infringes copyright or otherwise violates intellectual property or applicable law, the full legal and financial responsibility rests solely with the Content Creator who uploaded or published that content—not with Assignly.
Assignly may remove content that is reported or found to be infringing, and may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
The Assignly platform itself—including its design, features, branding, and underlying functionality—is owned by Assignly and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the platform without our express written permission.
Content Creators retain ownership of the original content they upload, subject to the rights and licenses granted to Assignly solely to host, display, and deliver that content through the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assignly shall not be liable for user-submitted lessons, learning materials, assessments, or other content, including any claims arising from copyright infringement, unauthorized use of third-party materials, or other violations attributable to a Content Creator.
Assignly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
